What will be provided to participants?

Accepted Answer

After you check in with the organizers, you will receive a name plate to display at your work area. Participants are expected to bring all other equipment needed to perform their work, such as chairs, tables, easels, art supplies, etc. The event organizers cannot provide any such materials.

Question 2

How long do I have to stay as a participant?

Accepted Answer

Participants are encouraged to work for as long as they can, but we understand that you may not be able to be there for the entire day. If you need to arrive late, leave early, or take breaks, it's no problem. Just make sure your work space is secure if you leave personal items unattended.

Question 3

Will I have access an electrical outlet to perform my art making?

Accepted Answer

If your art making requires electricity, you must either bring a portable battery or contact the event organizers ahead of time to confirm a suitable work site. Gas-powered generators are not suitable for the street environment and should be left at home.

Question 4

My art making produces a lot of noise or debris, can I still participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but you must contact the event organizers first to confirm an appropriate work site for the day. If you set up in a location where your art making is causing an issue for your neighbors, you will be asked to relocate.

My art making presents potential safety hazards to others, can I still participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but you must contact the event organizers first to confirm an appropriate work site for the day. If you set up in a location where your art making is causing an issue for your neighbors, you will be asked to relocate.

Question 6

What happens if inclement weather occurs?

Accepted Answer

Art Attack happens rain or shine so long as no safety concerns are anticipated.Participants are expected to prepare for inclement weather and bring reasonable protection from the elements (sun screen, umbrellas, etc). If severe weather is predicted, the event will be postponed to September 30, 2023.
